SOTW: ‘Dirty Laundry (Skeewiff Remix)’ by Bitter:Sweet
After all of the stuff that has been going on in the last week or so, I nearly forgot to post the song of the week. But alas, even though it’s a little late in coming this week, it’s better late than never, right?
This week I’m posting ‘Dirty Laundry’ from Bitter:Sweet, an electronica outfit out of LA. This has to be one of the sexiest songs I know of. From the pounding rhythm section to the sexy sensual vocals, this song is one of the first that comes to mind when someone mentions ’sex’ music. Click below to read on for lyrics and more info.
Just check out the ‘Bonnie & Clyde-style’ lyrics:
I’ve got a bad boy and that’s alright with me
His dirty laundry is nothing that I can’t keep clean
And when he needs an alibi
He can use me all night(Oooh) What’s the fun in playing it safe?
(Oooh) I think I’d rather misbehave
Your wayI’m just a bad girl, that’s why we get along
Won’t make excuses for anything I’m doing wrong
I’ll pull the trigger in a flash
Watch out honey, step back(Oooh) What’s the use in playing it safe?
(Oooh) Wouldn’t you rather misbehave?
My wayOh baby show me the money my evil friend
Let’s go to Mexico, drink margaritas in sin
I’ll light a candle for good luck
Now come on baby let’s…(Oooh) What’s the fun in playing it safe?
(Oooh) I think I’d rather misbehave
Our wayWe’re simply mad
Simply mad
This particular version is a remix of the original , which has a bit more of a 60’s retro-mod feel to it. This version seems more primal and sexual, so I grabbed it instead. So check it out now. And in case you are interested, this track can only be found on a CD single of remixes, which is pretty hard to come by. So if you want to pick it up, your best best would be just to download it from iTunes or Amazon.

I was watching an episode of Law & Order CI (Betrayed)and this was the lead in song. It just sucked me in and I had to find it. I did a search for the lyric “I’m just a bad girl that’s why we get along” and I found it here. Thanks for posting it.
